Announcements
| Scholarships must be applied for at Charlotte through the NinerScholars Portal. The university does not use an automatic process to award scholarships solely on prior academic performance (GPA, test scores, etc.). |
| Scholarship Portal Information: The NinerScholars Portal is currently open, though most 2026-27 deadlines have passed. You may still log in to check for any remaining opportunities. The portal reopens for the next cycle in late October. We will post a website notice once it is live. |
| Spring Admits: Students accepted for the Spring 2027 semester will need to wait until classes start on Jan. 11, 2027 to apply for scholarships. |
| Notification: Reviewers begin evaluating applications after the deadline. If selected for a scholarship, you will receive an email and your portal status will change to “Offered.” If not selected, no email is sent, but your status will eventually update to “Not Offered.” The review process typically takes 30 to 90 days. |

Important Dates
| Late Oct.: NinerScholars portal opens to apply for scholarships that, if awarded, will be credited to the student’s account for the 2026-27 academic year. |
| Feb. 15: Early Action deadline for a select offering of scholarships open exclusively to incoming freshmen enrolling fall 2026. |
| Apr. 1: Application deadline for most scholarships for freshmen and transfer students enrolling fall 2026, and continuing students. |
| April: Projected award notifications begin for Early Action select scholarships for fall 2026 freshmen admits |
| Jul. 30: Application deadline for reentry students. |
| May – July: Projected award notification for most other scholarships that will be credited to the student’s account for the upcoming academic year. |
