Learn what comes next by reading the information below.
If you were awarded a scholarships by UNC Charlotte:
- Check the NinerScholars Portal for status updates.
- Your scholarship award will show on the financial aid screen in Banner Self Service, available through My Charlotte Portal.
- Your scholarship money will post to your student account 10 days prior to the first day of classes.
If you receive a scholarship from an outside party:
- Submit all scholarship checks you receive to the Cashiers Office (located in the Reese building) so the funds can be deposited into your university student account.
- You must endorse any check that is made payable to you and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
- Include the following with each check:
- student’s name
- student’s university student ID, home address, and date of birth
- Include the following with each check:
- Your scholarship money will post to your student account 10 days prior to the first day of classes.
